Being attuned to the city’s fluctuating tempo over the course of a day, a week, a year, allows us to cultivate long-lasting and beneficial relationships with the spaces we design and the people who use them. By accommodating the various temporalities that exist, we can unlock the city’s latent spatial potential thereby maximising the potential of a site. In other words, to address the needs of the contemporary city, we recognise that time matters.
